Sreenidhi Ascend – Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is established as the Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development centre at the institute to support the entrepreneurial aspirations of students and accelerate their readiness to reach the market. Sreenidhi Ascend is poised to link the academic community at Sreenidhi with social and industrial associations, and other dedicated incubators. The governing board consisting of administrators, representatives from Sreenidhi, and alumni guide and steer Sreenidhi Ascend activities.
Sreenidhi Ascend acts as an umbrella to initiate and undertake innovation and entrepreneurship related initiatives. It also works closely with the Sreenidhi’s Research & Development Centre to take research to the application level and thereby converting into a start-up. Sreenidhi Ascend integrates the functioning of various cells/centres at the institute level, such as Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), IPR Cell, Centre of Excellence, and Research labs.
The area dedicated to Sreenidhi Ascend is around 10,000 sq.ft., which comprises of 10 cubicles as office space for business incubatees. With many promising initiatives, Sreenidhi Ascend paves the path to creating successful entrepreneurs with adequate support at the early stage of business in order to create immense value, and to provide constant support for start-up success.
